Zero percents of people with autism in employment, Macedonian study says

Dear colleagues,
During the #ReAttach conference 2018 in Eindhoven I gave an interview for independent journalist @Catalina George from Romania who lives in UK last seven years. It was my pleasure to talk about the state of art with autism in #Macedonia and #ESIPP project as well. Bellow you can find what she wrote at her youtube channel.

In Macedonia, local organisations, in partnership with similar European entities, support families of children with autism more than the government does. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Traikovski, the president of the Macedonian Scientific Society for Autism (MSSA), talks about high standards of research, with little government support. He gave Landinside an interview at the first international ReAttach conference on autism in Eindhoven, April 2018. According to him, a study conducted with a group of undergraduate students in 2010 revealed zero people with autism in employment in Macedonia. Recently, MSSA ran a project in the Balkan country, in partnership, among others, with University of Northampton, Autism Europe and other organisations in the region. Called "Equality and social inclusion through positive parenting", the project offered training and support to parents of children with autism.
